Megan Thee Stallion spent Tuesday on a yacht, in a bikini, declaring her wifey era officially dead. The Houston rapper teased a new song on Instagram, and the target is not hard to name.
The snippet, posted June 2, shows Megan dancing with a boat full of friends around bottles of her tequila brand, Chicas Divertidas, while a chant runs under her vocals and she announces she is back.
Megan announced her split from Klay Thompson in April, citing infidelity and trust issues after nearly a year together, according to her own social-media posts. The two hard-launched at her Pete and Thomas Foundation Gala last July, and she left her Broadway run in “Moulin Rouge!” early after the breakup. Her last public move was closing her own Miami Swim Week runway.
This is not the first lyric aimed his way. Megan also turned up on Bossman Dlow’s “Motion Party (Remix)” days earlier, rapping about catching a partner cheating.
Thompson, who now plays for the Dallas Mavericks, has not responded to the song.
