In a bombshell excerpt obtained by Us Weekly from his upcoming memoir, You Thought You Knew, the former backup dancer–turned–pop-ex-in-chief says he caught Britney Spears making out with one of her female dancers just weeks after they started dating in 2004.
“I passed one of the rooms, glanced inside — and froze,” Federline writes. “Teresa was sitting on the edge of the bed. Britney stood between her legs, hands on her face — and they were f—ing going at it. Full-on making out.”
Amsterdam, 2004 — The Night It All Went Down
Federline says the alleged scene unfolded in Amsterdam while Britney was on her Onyx Hotel Tour. He’d joined her and the tour crew for what he describes as a “loose, carefree” night out — drinks, dancing, and too much fun.
When she vanished from their hotel room, he went looking. That’s when he says he walked in on the now-infamous moment.
“I just wanted out,” he recalls. “I went back to my room, packed my bags, and decided I was leaving — her, the tour, everything.”
But the pop icon wasn’t letting go that easily. Federline claims Britney tracked him down in their room, crying and apologizing.
“She told me she didn’t realize how serious I was about us,” he writes. “That she was overwhelmed, that it had been a mistake.”
Despite the betrayal, Kevin says he stayed — because that’s when he realized he was falling in love with Britney.
From Hotel Hallway to Hollywood Wedding
Somehow, the scandal didn’t end them. In fact, he claims the Amsterdam chaos “brought them closer.” A few months later, Britney and Kevin were married — the fairy-tale that would crumble just as fast as it began.
They went on to welcome two sons — Sean Preston and Jayden James — before divorcing in 2007.
From “Toxic” to Just Toxic
The make-out revelation isn’t the only bomb Federline drops in his book. He also alleges Britney called ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake the night before their wedding, and that her “erratic behavior” after the conservatorship ended has been far worse than fans know.
Federline writes that he’s “terrified” something irreversible could happen if things don’t change — and that his sons once woke up to find Britney silently watching them with a knife in her hand.
“The clock is ticking,” he warns. “Something bad is going to happen if things don’t change.
Federline insists his memoir isn’t about revenge — it’s for his kids. But with cheating, confessions, and knives involved… who’s he really trying to save?
