The Stranger Things team has finally responded to the growing buzz surrounding Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour.
After a week of headlines alleging that Brown filed harassment and bullying complaints against her co-star, the show’s creators and executive producer are speaking out.
Their comments, however, raised more questions than answers.
At the Los Angeles premiere of the show’s fifth and final season, co-creators Matt and Ross Duffer, along with executive producer Shawn Levy, were asked directly about the allegations.
Ross Duffer told The Hollywood Reporter that “nothing matters more” than ensuring a safe and positive environment on set.
“We’ve been doing this for 10 years with this cast,” he said. “At this point, they’re family, and we deeply care about them.”
Levy echoed the sentiment, saying many of the stories circulating online had been “wildly inaccurate.”
“There’s a lot of noise around it,” he said. “But the truth is that we view this crew and this cast as family.”
Neither Brown nor Harbour has publicly commented on the claims. However, the two were seen posing together and sharing a laugh on the red carpet.
