Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday, held Saturday night at Jeff Bezos’ $165 million mansion, was so loud it had police knocking twice.
The first visit was for a noise complaint. The second came after Kris’ team reportedly built a hedge wall so massive it required a permit.
According to TMZ, neighbors called the cops when decibel levels hit what was described as concert mode, courtesy of Bruno Mars performing live in Bezos’ backyard.
The crowd? A mix of A-listers and internet royalty who reportedly “went feral” when Bruno launched into “24K Magic.”
Police issued a noise warning, but when officers returned, sound was no longer the issue. Infrastructure was.
Massive faux hedges, set up to hide the A-list chaos from nosy neighbors and paparazzi, ended up illegally blocking the street. Kris Jenner’s party literally caused a traffic jam of black SUVs.
No arrests, just a lot of very expensive perfume trapped in gridlock.
The guest list included Oprah Winfrey, Mariah Carey, Adele, Rich Paul, Tyler Perry, Snoop Dogg, Paris and Kathy Hilton, Vin Diesel, and, because even royal drama can’t resist a Kardashian invite, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Harry arrived in a black tux with a poppy pin in honor of Remembrance Day. Meghan stunned in black from head to toe, finished with a velvet clutch, a reminder she’s still royalty when it comes to style.
All six of Kris’ children, Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Rob Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, and Kylie Jenner, helped throw the bash, with their usual entourage in tow, including Travis Barker, Tristan Thompson, Scott Disick, and Corey Gamble.
Kris’ longtime boyfriend Corey reportedly stayed glued to her side as she floated through the night like a Bond villain, champagne in hand and legacy management fully activated.
By Sunday morning, the hedges were gone, the noise had died down, and the police reports were filed.
