After excerpts from Kevin Federline’s upcoming tell-all, You Thought You Knew, hit the internet, Britney Spears didn’t hold back — accusing her ex of “gaslighting,” “attacking,” and cashing in on her heartbreak.
The Book That Broke Her Silence
Federline, 47, claims his new memoir will finally tell his side of their 2000s marriage and co-parenting drama — but Britney says it’s nothing more than a profitable pity tour. In a fiery Instagram post, she went off:
“Always being threatened or made to believe I’m the bad one as they profit off my pain… Oh dear Jesus show me there is a God and I can too be loved unconditionally.”
The Mother, the Memoir, the Madness
The pop legend compared Kevin’s upcoming release to her own 2023 memoir, The Woman in Me, admitting with brutal honesty, “I know his book will sell loads more than mine.”
She also aimed his interviews, writing that he “literally attacks” her and performs “fake tears for sympathy.”
But Britney didn’t stop there — she dragged her estranged mom Lynne into the mix, accusing her of barely calling in six years and keeping her out of family events.
“They treat me exactly the way my father used to,” she wrote. “They secretly love to cast me out and make me feel completely isolated.”
Healing, Hollywood, and a Little Hope
Despite the chaos, Britney says she’s finding peace — with a mini greenhouse, a little gardening therapy, and dreams of having coffee with Paris Jackson and Michelle Pfeiffer.
“It’s important to still believe in humanity,” she wrote, promising fans she’ll soon pivot to acting, podcasting, and writing — but nothing about her own drama.
She ended with gratitude, thanking her loyal fans:
“Thank you to the people supporting my heart right now — it hurts, but I know you guys understand.”
