Charli D’Amelio spent years as the smiling face of her family’s popcorn brand. She walked away from it months ago, and the internet only caught on this week, right as her father logged on to swat down the rumors.
The 22-year-old, one of TikTok’s most-followed stars, is no longer tied to Be Happy Snacks, the gourmet popcorn line the D’Amelios launched in 2023, TMZ reported. Sources told the outlet the exit was “a formal amicable separation” from D’Amelio Brands that began in March 2025 and was finalized last November.
The timing is what lit the feeds. DeuxMoi posted a tip alleging Charli discovered that millions had been moved out of accounts set up while her parents managed her career. DeuxMoi noted the claims remain unverified.
Marc D’Amelio, who runs D’Amelio Brands, denied it in the comments, writing, “We love Charli but she is being manipulated and I have the receipts.” He later went on a TikTok Live, saying he had not spoken to Charli or her mother, Heidi, in some time and pointing at people on his daughter’s team.
Dixie D’Amelio is still posting the popcorn. Charli is still pictured across the Be Happy website. She has not said a word.
