Cardi B just proved that her no-nonsense rebrand might have a major, Stefon-shaped loophole.
On Wednesday night, the Capital One Arena in D.C. transformed into a full-blown Diggs family reunion. While Cardi was onstage giving body, her baby daddy and former Patriots player Stefon Diggs was in the VIP section acting like his “ex” status was a total myth.
Personal trainer Clyde Simmons caught the receipts on IG, filming Stefon, his brother Trevon, and their mother, Stephanie, absolutely losing it in the stands. It didn’t exactly scream “amicable co-parents who never speak.”
But the real shift happened after the house lights went down. The crew hit the afterparty at Throw Social, but it’s what happened in the parking lot that fractured the ‘new direction’ narrative.
According to witnesses, Cardi left the club and headed straight for Stefon’s white sports car. After a “tense but intimate” conversation, she hopped into the passenger seat and the two sped off into the D.C. night.
This late-night rendezvous comes just months after headlines claimed Cardi had pulled back, citing deep-seated trust issues. After their whirlwind 2025 yacht debut and the birth of their son in November, the Super Bowl breakup seemed final.
Sources previously claimed Cardi was focusing solely on her music, but apparently, the music sounds better from Stefon’s sound system.
Cardi is still technically married to Offset and raising four kids. But with the divorce papers not even dry, she is already back in the passenger seat of the one man she supposedly can’t trust.
